Purchasing a puppy
Some things you should know when purchasing a puppy from
us.

We do not sell to puppy mills. We do not sell to individuals who believe in out
door pets. All our puppies are to go to homes that will include them as a part
of their family. We have the right to refuse to sell you a puppy. All puppies will
be listed with their price and registration information. Puppies that are listed
as limited registration will be sold under a spay/neuter contract or be spayed
or neutered before leaving us depending on age. Puppies listed as show
potentials are not guaranteed to do well in a show, they are only showing
signs of a potential show dog based on color, markings and personality. All
puppies sold on full registration will be placed on a co-own only. Individual
terms will be discussed with puppy purchaser. Puppies grow and change
daily and we can never guarantee size, shape or conformation when older.
Our puppies usually go home between 8 to 24 weeks of age. Show potentials
may be required to stay here until 4 to 6 months of age. This way we can
better asses there show qualities. We offer lifetime support for you and your
puppy. When you purchase a puppy from us you must understand that we
have the first right of refusal.
You may not sell nor give away this
puppy with out our written consent.
We will take back any puppy if you
find you can not care for it any longer (no refunds promised). If you ever need
help placing your puppy in a new home we will help you do that free of
charge.

All our puppies have their dewclaws removed, appropriate vaccinations,
micro chipped, wormed and receive a complete Vet exam. We handle them
daily. At 4 weeks old we begin bathing the babies, trimming toenails weekly,
they become used to the sound of running clippers and the blow dryer. We
begin stack training them and teach them to come as well. At 4 weeks of age
they get their first collar too. Puppy pads are introduced at 5 weeks of age
and we usually find that most puppies are 85% puppy pad trained by 8 weeks
of age. We introduce the crate to our puppies at 5 weeks of age. They get their
first meal at 4 weeks of age but still nurse with Mom as long as she will let
them. Our babies do NOT play outside. We will take them outside in our arms
and we take them for car rides but because of Parvo and Distemper we never
let their feet touch the ground. Our personal dogs go outside at 12 weeks of
age. We introduce the puppies to our older Lhasa's and Danes at 6 weeks of
age. This is when we start letting them run about and play with the older
Lhasa's for periods during the day. At this time we work on basic training
skills. Homemade treats are used to work with the puppies.

When your puppy comes home you will receive or be shipped the following:
AKC paperwork, written health guarantee, micro chip paperwork and tag,
shot and worming record, copy of Vet exam papers, a handbook written by us
to help you understand what your puppy is used to and things to know when
you get him or her home, leash and collar, some toys that they are used to
playing with and a blanket that smells like the other dogs.

Show Potential puppies: Puppies sold as show potential will be under a
contract. This means that you must show this puppy in AKC events. Check
with us about our specials on show puppies.

Breeding rights: If you wish to purchase a puppy with breeding rights but you
do not plan to show the puppy, you will need to email us to discuss your
options. We do not sell our puppies with breeding rights to just anybody.

Deposits: We do NOT accept deposits on puppies over 7 weeks of age.
Puppies older than
7 weeks must be paid for in full. Deposit on a Lhasa
puppy is $200
for pet puppies and $300 for show puppies. Deposits are
accepted once puppies are placed on our available page. You must have an
approved puppy application on file prior to being able to place a deposit.
Click here for our application. Deposits can be made in a couple different
ways however NO PERSONAL CHECKS. Final payment is due at time of pick
up or 1 week prior to shipping. All puppies will receive a Vet check before
going to a new home. Puppies leaving California will receive a travel health
certificate, this is included in the shipping price. We accept PayPal, Visa,
Master Card, US Postal money orders, electronic checks and cash. NO
PERSONAL CHECKS! If you send us a check it will be returned to you.
If you
try and pick up your puppy and pay with a check you will not leave here with
your puppy.

Registered Name:
All show puppies will be preregistered by us. You
will then transfer the registration papers to your name once you
receive them from us.
We will choose the registered name at 5 weeks of
age. If you have chosen a puppy by that age you can have a say in the
registered name. You may give your puppy any call name you choose
however.

Because of our limited breedings and quality offered our puppies usually sell
fast. We often have a waiting list for our puppies. You may add your name to
the waiting list at anytime, but after you have an approved application on file.
First on the list is called first when the puppies arrive. I only make 2 attempts
to contact you. However, first deposit from an approved home, holds the
puppy. We do not usually take deposits on litters until they arrive and are
posted to our site. If you plan to mail us your deposit we suggest you send it
via Priority or Express mail. We will only put a hold on a puppy for 4 days.
Once it is received we will mark your puppy as sold. Deposits are
non-refundable. Once we mark your puppy as sold we no longer can offer
that puppy to other potential homes. If you change your mind you will not
receive your deposit back. If your final payment is not received by the date on
your written contract your puppy will be placed back up for adoption and you
will forfeit all monies paid thus far.

Stud service is available to qualified breeders. Pedigrees on our males are
available on their individual pages. Contact us for more information on this

Shipping: Some people do not know how shipping works or why we charge what
we charge. Here is a simple break down. We will arrange shipping to you. There are
times of the year that we may not be able to ship to you due to heat or cold and the
airlines that can fly into your local airport. We do not guarantee that we can ship to you.
We ship from Ontario, Ca or LAX airport. We must travel 2 to 4 hours one way to the
airport so we must try and ship as many puppies from a litter the same day. We try to
book the shortest flights and weekends as well. We must obtain a health certificate for
your puppy dated no more than 10 days prior to the flight. If you delay shipping it will
cost you a second health certificate. Due to the stress of the flight we ask that you
arrive at the airport on time to avoid letting your puppy sit there alone. Not all airports
can accept pet shipments. We do NOT guarantee we can ship a puppy to you. If we
can not fly a puppy to you, you must make arrangements to pick the puppy up.

Price: Our costs are, Health certificate $59.00 each puppy. Crate $29 to $50 for an
8 week old puppy. Travel costs for us $50. The airlines charge prices based on
anything from distance of flight, weight of puppy and crate, etc. Experience has been
$189 to $250 covers the basic flight of a 8 week old puppy. We can usually ship you 2
puppies in the same crate for only $100 more(our charge to you).

Your Price: We may only charge you $275 for Lhasa puppies. There is no mark up
for shipping, actually we pay for part of it. Please understand that older puppies are
larger and can cost significantly more. We must pass on some of the extra cost on to
you in these cases. Please understand that if you ask us to delay shipping.

Delivery: Delivery is an option for those close enough to us. We will deliver or meet
you for a mileage based fee. Due to the rising price of fuel we can not estimate
delivery costs until time of purchase. We will at the time of deposit and agreement set
a price, whether the price of fuel rises or falls that will be the set price. Some areas we
can deliver to is San Diego area, Los Angeles area and the areas in between as well
as others in Southern California or Nevada. Delivery option is only up to us. We can
refuse to deliver any puppy. NOTE: If we are attending a dog show or event and are
we able to bring your puppy you may pick it up there at no additional cost to you.

SHIPPING PRICE IS BASED AT THE TIME OF SALE. THE ABOVE CHARGES
ARE ONLY A BASELINE ESTIMATE. ALL PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
INTERNATIONAL PUPPY FLIGHTS ARE BASED ON ACTUAL PRICES.
